This website was created for the Culinary Institute of America’s CIA Foodies sub-brand to provide a clean, welcoming digital space for culinary enthusiasts to explore recipes, stories, events, and educational content. The front-end experience was shaped around clear user pathways and content-first thinking, organizing information into a logical, intuitive flow that supported exploration without overwhelming the viewer.
The design emphasized editorial clarity, strong visual hierarchy, and restrained, approachable aesthetics aligned with the CIA brand while giving CIA Foodies its own distinct voice. I developed the UX approach, page structures, and front-end visual design, collaborating closely with a developer for implementation. The final site balanced thoughtful interaction, readability, and a cohesive visual system across devices.
