WHYY Public Media Commons
flyers / mini brand system
A comprehensive visual system was developed for WHYY’s Public Media Commons, bringing clarity and energy to adult, youth, and educator courses. The challenge involved creating distinct categories while maintaining alignment with the parent brand.
A color-coded framework drawn from the WHYY palette with blue for adults, yellow for youth, and green for educators established intuitive navigation across materials. Bold, oversized typography and large-scale silhouette imagery introduced graphic presence and movement while reflecting the hands-on spirit of the courses.
The system extended across flyers, catalogs, gift certificates, web, and digital assets, creating a cohesive, scalable identity. The design balanced accessibility with visual impact, ensuring the program’s offerings were immediately recognizable and consistently engaging across all touchpoints.
