For FOX 29’s Storm Tracker Weather Truck, a full vehicle wrap was developed to project authority, preparedness, and immediate recognizability in the field. The objective was to move beyond the standard news vehicle aesthetic and create a commanding mobile presence that reinforces the station’s credibility in severe weather coverage.

The design centers on bold, confident typography paired with dramatic yet familiar local imagery, grounding the vehicle in Philadelphia while strengthening viewer trust. Strong contrast and clear hierarchy ensure legibility at a distance, whether the truck is positioned at a live broadcast or moving through city streets. The composition was carefully scaled and adapted to the vehicle’s contours so that key messaging maintains impact across panels and sightlines.

From concept development through production coordination and installation oversight, the project required precise planning to ensure accurate color reproduction, alignment, and durability.
