Carla Lickun is the owner and principal of Noopi Creative, an obsessively thoughtful design studio offering big-agency quality with small-studio care. She is an award-winning design director, creative services manager, graphic designer, motion graphics animator, and project lead with over 25 years of industry experience.

Carla has a deep background in both hands-on design and creative management, having led projects and teams across broadcast, retail, higher education, nonprofit, and corporate environments. Her work spans a wide range of creative deliverables — from daily design and social content to national billboard campaigns, packaging and POP design, motion graphics, identity systems, and complete brand rollouts.

Her career began in broadcast, designing and animating for stations including WOUB-TV (PBS), WSYX-TV (ABC), WTTE-TV (FOX), WTXF-TV (FOX Philadelphia), Comcast Cable, and WHYY (PBS Philadelphia). From there, she expanded into other industries, bringing her design and management skills to The Culinary Institute of America, David’s Bridal Corporate, StraighterLine, The Main Line Times Newspaper, International Schools Services, and a wide array of B2B, B2C, and independent clients.

Carla has produced seasonal product catalogs, developed packaging for retail, designed full graphics packages for news programming, and managed brand campaigns from concept to launch. She’s directed photo shoots, created print campaigns for transit and outdoor media, designed logos and brand systems, built web and social assets, and supported film and event promotion. Whether leading a creative team or flying solo, she brings precision, care, and an obsessive attention to detail to every project, no matter the size or scope.

As a creative partner, Carla values relationships as much as results. She’s worked with organizations of all sizes — from national brands to scrappy startups — and often donates or discounts her services to nonprofits focused on doing good. She’s also led professional trainings on design principles and creative software, and continues to support clients not just with creative work, but with thoughtful, reliable design support.

Carla lives in New York’s Hudson Valley, where she enjoys swimming, hiking, photography, strawberries and the simple things, along with her husband (a proud Navy veteran), two wonderful bonus kids, and three rescue dogs who take their Instagram presence far too seriously: @miloandbernie.
